The course in a minute
La Torre is a Nicklaus Design course, par 68 and just under 6,000 yards off the whites. Short on paper, but don't be fooled. There are six par 3s, and four of them are over 190 yards from the back.
The fairways are wide. The greens are the test: domed, quick and guarded by bunkers and lakes, so anything struck a bit off runs away into trouble. Course management beats length here.
- 6Par 3sHoles 3, 5, 9, 11, 15 and 17. The 11th is the longest at 220 yards off the whites.
- 2Par 5sThe 7th at 515 yards and the 12th at 488. Your best chances to get a shot back.
- 5Sets of teesEvery hole has a choice of five tees, so it can play kind or tough depending on where you start.
