El Valle: the other course we called home.

After La Torre, the family lived at El Valle too. A Nicklaus desert course in a valley, with rocks, streams and a touch of Arizona.

The course in a minute

El Valle is a par 71 Jack Nicklaus Design course on the Nicklaus Golf Trail, set in a valley at Baños y Mendigo, just south of Murcia city. One review says it feels more like Arizona than Spain, and that's fair: desert planting, rock-edged bunkers, two lakes and a few streams and waterfalls.

It's about 6,355 metres off the whites, roughly 6,950 yards, with four sets of tees. Reviewers rate it among the best courses in Murcia.
