Join the club. Skip the committee.
A digital clubhouse where every golfer belongs. Swap stories, pick up tips from our PGA Pro Panel, see kit put to the test on real courses and meet up to play with people who love the game as much as you do.

Every handicap. One table.
Think of it as the biggest golf society you'll ever join, with no waiting list. A digital clubhouse where club golfers chat about Saturday's round in our private Facebook group, share what's working, test kit on the official panel and meet up to play.
Come for the tips and the deals. Stay for the people. It starts online, and as the Clubhouse grows, so will the ways to meet up and play.
Paul hosts. The members make it. Everyone's welcome, whatever's on your card.
Talk golf
A private chat for the round you can't stop thinking about, a weekly tip from the Pro Panel, and plenty of advice on everyone else's swing.
Test kit
Tell the Clubhouse what's in your bag and whether it was worth the money. As brands join, Test Panel members play new kit for four weeks, with their verdict next to Paul's.
Play together
Members' days, trips worth the money, and a monthly challenge with a leaderboard you'll pretend not to check.
Tips straight from the pros.
We're building a panel of PGA professionals who coach club golfers every day. Once they're on board: a tip every week in The Deft Notes, your questions answered every month, and money off a lesson when you need one.

The members, not the models.
Real people with a real passion for golf. Nobody's here for a magazine cover, just a quick snap on the 18th to remember the day: the rain, the grit and the odd great round from our trips and weekends away.*

The people we play with.
Real club golfers, from scratch hopefuls to Sunday regulars. Everyone loves the game enough to keep working at it, and nobody lets it become a full time job.
LovesI love the camaraderie between a friendly competitive 4 ball
HatesNo relief from a divot. Criminal rule that!!!
LovesThe people you play with. The trips away. The constant pursuit of perfection that you will never achieve. Being outdoors and teaching my sons to play
HatesSlow play. 3 putts. And the cost
LovesThe banter, the competition, the lads and that one perfect shot that keeps you coming back. As they say, “I don’t let birdies and pars get in the way of having a good time!” 🍻⛳️
HatesSlow play, three-putts and the comedian who asks “What club did you use?” after you’ve missed a putt by a mile. Closely followed by “Apart from the line and the speed, that was a good putt!” 🤣
LovesFor me, the social side of the game is the best. The amount of new people I’ve met and places I’ve had the opportunity to play since starting golf has been class.
HatesSLOW PLAY!
LovesCompetition
HatesGolf snobbery
LovesI love hitting the ball straight (which is rare). The pride after playing a good round.
HatesMissing an easy chip or putt.
LovesCompetitiveness among friends!
HatesInconsistency!

Never miss a round for want of a partner.
Your usual partner's on nights. Your mate from work is away. Booking on with three strangers through an app isn't for everyone, and plenty of good golfers would rather not. So the week goes by without a game.
That's where the Clubhouse is heading. As members join from all over the UK, and one day further afield, we want to help you make up a fourball: golfers near you, of a similar standard, who already feel like friends before the first tee.
Say when you're free
Tuesday afternoon, Sunday first thing, whenever your shifts allow.
Meet members, not strangers
You've already got chatting online in the Clubhouse, our members' Facebook group, so the first tee feels like a Saturday with your mates.
Nervous first timers welcome
Say so when you post. Someone will be glad of the company and happy to go easy on the banter.
Where it starts: a weekly Find a game post in the Clubhouse chat, our private Facebook group. The more members join, the more games we can make happen.
Where to play next.
Where to play, where to stay and where to eat afterwards, written by members who have been.

North East EnglandPaul's home patch: the North East
Where Paul learned the game, and why the wind there keeps you honest.
Forty years in. Still learning.
It started with a Dunlop Blue Flash half set one Christmas and a junior membership at Boldon Golf Club. Then came the Murcia years, when Paul and the family lived on La Torre and El Valle, two Jack Nicklaus designed courses, with plenty more a short drive away. Golf on the doorstep, every day. Did they realise how lucky they were? Not always. You don't, when you're in the middle of it. Good things don't last forever, and these days Paul plays like most of us: whenever he can, and still happy to pay a pro or take a tip if it means getting better. He built the Clubhouse so club golfers would have somewhere to belong.
I'm not a pro, just a club golfer who's played a lot of golf and still books the odd lesson. When your game needs a pro, I'll send you to the ones I trust.
The review after the hype.
Most reviews happen on launch day, on a launch monitor. Ours happen four weeks later, on the course, with golfers who play like you. Every test ends with Worth it or Not for me, and we show the misses too. Panel tests start as brands come on board, so apply now to be first in line.

Four weeks, two drivers, one verdict.
Golf is better with people who get it.

What happens on a members' day?
A course you'd want to play
Good tracks at a members' rate, picked because they're worth the drive.
Leave with a new fourball
You're drawn with golfers from other clubs and other handicaps. Most people swap numbers by the 9th.
The nineteenth, obviously
Lunch, a prize for the winner and one for the best excuse. Paul plays too.
Weekly or monthly. Always one thing that works.
A tip from the Pro Panel, a word from Paul, a member's verdict and what Paul is testing next. Plus the free guide: The Rules You're Probably Breaking Every Saturday.
Stop firing at flags. Hit the middle of the green, take your two putts and let your mates find the water. The flag is a suggestion, not an instruction.
Paul
Kit brands, clubs, travel firms and PGA pros.
We'd love to hear from you. One rule: the verdict is not for sale.
